app tweetsville - hold on!
Vor einigen Tagen wollte ich ausnahmsweise mal ganz vorne dabei sein (ein "lead user" sein, also noch vor den "early adaptors"....) und habe mir das die (damals) brandneue iphone App tweetsville runtergeladen bzw. installiert. Bin über meinen eigene Schatten gesprungen und habe 3 Euronen locker gemacht... und dann? Die grosse Entäuschung: CRASH - die App funzt überhaupt nicht, nach einigen Sekunden warten lande ich immer wieder auf dem homescreen. Hier meine tweets dazu:
anyway, das nun langersehnte update der Softwareschmiede Tapalous lässt auf sich warten, hier ein, zwei statement aus GET SATISFACTION: Now on the other hand you have tweetsville which doesn't even start released on the 12th and till today no updates at all. Given the fact that Tapulous has made a few successful apps for the iPhone (1 of which apple uses in its ads frequently) I find it very hard to believe that you do not have the ability to rush this update through. Does the fault really lie with the apple updating process? und das feedback von Zach, an employee of Tapulous:
We have submitted the application days ago, I promise you that. The review process is a mystery. Apple ist schuld, klar.

2) Wenn die nur mit der UK-Region arbeiten...dann wird der Fehler bei deren Tests nicht auffallen. Die einzige Abhilfe wäre Public Betas von allem mit dem Requirement, dass jeder aus verschiedenen Regions kommt. Ich vermute mal, dass der Fehler so abstrus ist, dass er einfach nicht auffällt. Ich bin bei den Public Betas bei denen ich mitgemacht habe auch noch nicht auf die Idee gekommen mal die Region umzustellen um zu schauen was passiert.
3) Apple ist schuld - über den Approval-Prozess jammern so viele im Netz seitdem es ihn gibt, dass da wirklich Apple schuld ist.
Niemand weiß was sie da machen, niemand weiß wie sie testen, niemand weiß was Gründe für Ablehnungen sind, niemand kriegt ne Info wie weit ein Test fortgeschritten ist etc.....
