Heute Sonntag den seit 2001 benutzen mail plus Service von yahoo gekündigt. Die folgenden Fragen habe ich noch schnell durchgelesen bevor ich auf "yes, unsubscribe this service" geklickt habe:
Are you sure that you want to cancel your current subscription to Yahoo! Mail Plus? If you cancel, the following will occur immediately:
* You will see graphical ads on the Mail web interface.
* You will lose the ability to POP or forward your email.
* Your filters quota will be reduced to 15. All filters that exceed this limit will be deleted.
* You will also lose all other Mail Plus benefits, such as SpamGuard Plus, AddressGuardTM, and the ability to send messages up to 20MB.
* You will receive a pro-rated refund for the unused portion of your service. You will no longer be charged for this service next year. Aber wenn ich es richtig verstehe, dann werde ich weiterhin auf meinem iPhone die yahoo mails lesen können, nicht via POP3 aber via IMAP Zugang! Da brauche ich kein mail plus dazu. Die Entwicklungen eim Speicherplatz sind unglaublich: im Jahre 2001 hatte ich dank der "mail plus" Option eine Inbox mit 25MB - das wäre heute grad mal Platz für eine grosse e-mail...
